volunteer work in spain


volunteer work in spain?
I would like to do some volunteer work in Spain over the summer, maybe 3-4 months, i was thinking maybe in an orphanage or somewhere like that? anyone have any idea how i might go about gettin some info on agencies etc. thanks =]

Spain isn't a developing country. They don't bring volunteers to work in their orphanages, just as the USA doesn't bring foreign people to come over and work in the foster care system. If you are fluent in Spanish, you can have look online for child services NGOs and email them to see if they would be willing to involve you as a volunteer while you are on vacation in Spain. If you are not fluent in Spanish, you can't volunteer in Spain, because you don't speak the local language. A language course in Spain might be better for you.
