Sure, if you have a Spanish work visa.
2 :
If you have a British passport you can work in Spain without a VIsa, as it's part of the EU along with the UK
3 :
Having a UK pass port allows you to live and work in any of 28 EU countries. No visa necessary. Just fly over, have a look around, and decide where you would like to live and work. Simple as that.
4 :
If you hold a U.K. passport which denotes "British Citizen" you may go and live and work in the other 26 EU countries, and in Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland http://ec.europa.eu/eures/main.jsp?acro=lw&lang=en&catId=490&parentId=0 .to include Spain.

It's hard to find a job in Spain now due to the economical crisis. If you're in Palma I think your best chance is to working on a Hotel or something related to tourism. You don't need to have a Tourism certificate or something. Maybe if you speak good English and you can get by in Spanish it's enough for that. This website is for working as a tourist animator on Hotels in Spain, I'm sure there are a wide range of possibilities for Majorca. http://www.ociokonsulting.com/ Another website for working in Hotels http://empleo.trovit.es/ofertas-empleo/work-mallorca Good luck!

Good luck! As Salva said, you are running up to the economic crisis...things are pretty much worse in Spain than anyplace else, from what I'm reading...bad everywhere. Most people look at bars, restaurants, and if you speak English, teaching English.

Moving to Spain to work for 6 weeks....what to take

Moving to Spain to work for 6 weeks....what to take?
I have just found out i'm off to Spain to work for 6 weeks - staying in a hotel. This is my first real time moving out as such as i'm 18 and i'm in a panic as to what I will and won't need. I have all the basics sorted like clothes but I don't know what else as 6 weeks is a lot longer than my 2 week holidays! Any ideas as to things I could easily forget but would come in very useful?

Phone numbers Addresses Extra pajamas Medication Cell phone charger Proper Identification Batteries Spanish dictionary Umbrellas Walking Shoes Foreign Language Phrase Books Sunscreen Backpacks Sunglasses Camera Video Camera Shower cap Locks on luggage There are several important items which you shouldn't leave for Spain without, the most obvious being your passport (or ID card) and travel documentation. Take photocopies of your passport, travel documentation, insurance, tickets and credit card numbers and keep them separate from the originals (or send the details to a secure email account) in case they are lost or stolen and you need to give this information to the police. In Spain it is a legal requirement to carry some form of identification - this can be your passport or another form of photographic ID. Before leaving for Spain make an appointment with your GP to check whether you need any vaccinations or boosters for your trip. It is also a good idea to visit your dentist for a check up - the last thing you want is toothache or other dentistry dramas disrupting your trip to Spain. Have a safe trip to Spain.

Camera may be useful, you will love Spain. What city are you going to?
3 :
Well, not sure where you live now but if coming from USA you will need one of those electrical outlet convertors. How about a towel ((beach))? Alarm clock?
4 :
everything seems to have been covered so far, but I would just like to add that the clothing that you bring should reflect all weather conditions - not just the blazing Sun - especially if you are coming before the end of April, otherwise you are likely to get caught out. If you are bringing a cell phone from home ask your service provider if you can pay a small monthly surcharge for 50% off your international calls as this will save you a small fortune, or if you are feeling brave don't bring your cell phone and instead buy a pre-paid phone card as these work out quite competetive.

Do you have a visa that enables you to work? If not, then no, you cannot work in Spain for any time period.
2 :
Not even for a day unless you have a valid work visa and passport. Don't even try this if you have no visa, you will end up at a Spanish jail.
3 :
As long as you have a working permit you may work 3 months or +
4 :
This question can answer you the embassy or a counsolate of Spain. Entering the European Union on a turist visa you are NOT allowed to work.
