Ok this is what I found... Residency and Work Permits American citizens wanting to study, reside, or work in Spain must obtain the appropriate visa from the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in their state/country of last residence. After the visa has been issued, foreigners have three months to apply for the corresponding permit with the Spanish authorities in Spain. Obtaining a residence or work permit is a complicated process; since regulations change continually, we suggest that you write directly to the: Spanish National Police Calle Moratin, 43 28014 Madrid You may also check the Ministry of Interior ’s website, or call the Ministry of Interior, within Spain, toll-free at 900-15-00-00. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also manages a website. Take a look The Embassy Of the United States in Spain website.. http://madrid.usembassy.gov/cons/acstraveling.html Good Luck Buenas Suerte

It's not Cortez revisited, but BBVA, one of Spain's top banks (alongside Santander Central Hispano), is conquering Latin America, where it controls key banks in about 10 countries in the region. With some 7,500 offices in nearly 40 countries, its services include retail, corporate, and institutional banking; investment banking; asset management; insurance; and Internet banking. Beyond its activities in Spain and Latin America, BBVA also operates elsewhere in Europe, mainly in Portugal, France, and Italy. It's also expanding its reach into the US.

You'll need electrical adapters in Europe.
2 :
US Candada and Mexico have similar electric conditions. listen to tom I would go to bestbuy or some other store and look up for international adapters all over europe the have different outlets. and you might need different ones. if you are only going to spain you must carry only the spanish one.
3 :
It works in Mexico because the voltage and plugs are the same in Mexico. Seriously? You didn't buy one that was dual voltage? No. If you don't get a Voltage converter (which is sold by wattage...check the wattage before you go to a luggage store to buy one, and usually comes with a bunch of plug adapters) then your appliance will either blow up, or get so hot it will burn your hair, possibly starting a fire.
4 :
You will need a 50 cycle converter since most everything in the US is made for 60 cycles. Also, most wall socket plugs have round prongs instead of the blade style we have here. Almost all of Europe is 50 cycle AC.
5 :
yes. you need an adapter which you can easily get here anyway. the local shops wherever you are, have them.
