You're very wise to be wasting no time at this critical juncture. Yes, immigrating to Spain is a good idea for you. Primary consideration should be learning Spanish -- especially terms for everyday items such as rutabaga, trailer hitch and sasquatch. Along with acquiring several tubes of 'wasabi' before leaving -- useful both as 'sushi' condiment and sunscreen -- be sure to find out about preparing 'tapas' at home.

You didn't say what your Nationality is... if you're a citizen of the EU then it's no problem but if you're and American, then it's probably not possible unless you have a technical skill they need in Spain. Just don't get caught working in Spain illegally because THAT can cause you more troubles than you want to handle.
